Video stops part-way through
As the video loads, the play bar fills in with a darker shade of grey. That shading needs to stay in front of the playhead, the little triangle that moves across as the video loads. Are you seeing the dark grey fill in for a ways and then stop? if so, then when the playhead catches up to what is downloaded it will stop playing. If this is the case, here are some options:
- If it stops downloading, reload the page. This will make a new request for a complete copy of the video.
- If it continues to download but so slowly that the playhead catches up to it, click pause to give the video a little more time to fully download.
- It may also help to reduce any other demands on the processor or bandwidth such as not downloading other content at the same time, keeping the focus on the window playing the video.
